 Generation No. 1

1.  EDWARD¹ CREER was born 1821 in Isle Of Man.  He married BARBARA LIDDELL November 20, 1846 in Kirknewton and Calder, Midlothian, Scotland, daughter of JOHN LIDDELL and BARBARA BRYCE.  She was born September 19, 1823 in Kirknewton and Calder, Midlothian, Scotland.

 Notes for EDWARD CREER:

In May 1862 arrived in Victoria Australia with wife and children on "Star of Brunswick".  Some of them must have returned to the UK because, in the 1881 census he was living at Dyke St, Arlecdon, Cumberland with wife and children, George W (Iron miner) and Elizabeth (scholar).

2.  EDWARD² CREER (EDWARD¹) was born March 25, 1855 in Hensingham, Cumberland.  He married ELIZABETH JANE CAINE August 12, 1875 in German, Isle Of Man.  She was born 1852 in German, Isle Of Man.

 Notes for EDWARD CREER:

In the 1881 census he was living at George St, Arlecdon, Cumberland with wife and children, John Caesar, Clara A and Barbara Jane. His occupation was iron miner.

3.  JOHN CAESAR³ CREER (EDWARD², EDWARD¹) was born 1878 in Isle Of Man, and died August 18, 1910 in Felling Colliery, County Durham.  He married MARY BELL Abt. February 1898 in Whitehaven Cumberland, daughter of WILLIAM BELL and SARAH A.  She was born December 1880 in Washington, County Durham.

Living at 36 Ox Close, Washington, Co Durham with her parents and two year old brother Thomas at the time of the 1881 census in March 1881.

                 iv.       ELIZABETH CREER, b. 1908, Gateshead, County Durham; d. 1916, Gateshead, County Durham.

                  v.       JESSIE CREER, b. October 1910, Gateshead, County Durham; d. September 1911, Gateshead, County Durham.

 Notes for JESSIE CREER:

Her father John Caesar Creer never saw Jessie as he was killed shortly before she was born.

4.  MARY ROSE⁴ CREER (JOHN CAESAR³, EDWARD², EDWARD¹) was born October 07, 1903 in Gateshead, County Durham, and died 1993 in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.  She married CUSACK. 

 Child of MARY CREER and CUSACK is:

                   i.       GEORGE⁵ CUSACK.
