He married FLORENCE LILLY BUTLER June 16, 1916 in Primitive Methodist Church, Basingstoke, UK. She was born December 20, 1884 in Basingstoke?, and died September 14, 1980 in Illinois, USA.

Notes for JOHN ALFRED CREER:

The family emigrated to Canada in the early 1920's and from there, they emigrated to the U.S. John A. Creer worked as an engineer in the Southampton ship yards

Notes for FLORENCE LILLY BUTLER:

I did locate a few post cards in the album with addresses on them. One is addressed to Florence Butler before she married. It shows a picture of Sharon Hill, Basingstoke. She had written under the post card "our home street where house was built". The post card is dated Oct. 21, 06. I also have a post card sent to her from her brother who died in WW1. It is dated Dec. 27, 17. The address on that card is 49 North Rd. (I can't make out the second line) Southampton. This card was sent to her after she was married to John Creer.
